I have been wondering why you cannot use pre-mix oil in a motor that is oil injected. I have really good oil that says its for premix only but I don't know why I couldn't use that in my bike.

If pre-mix oil is thicker wouldn't it be better for your engine to just run pre-mix?

Also has anyone heard of the oil that when it burns it gives off a fruity smell?

Ya hehe it is sented oil I used it once just for fun but it sucks.

As for the premix oil I have used it in oil injection before it is not that great for the pump but it works never had any problem

The premix oil is thicker then the injector oil, ive noticed especially some racing premix's are really thick ,your better off with upgrades to get rid of the injection system before you burn up your cylinder also this allows you to get rid of the oil pump freeing up some of the drag of your engine.
