Every time I pull up to my yamaha dealer for something, I get the owner, sales guys and some of the tech guys to come out and check out my scooter... I swear they hear it and come running to see what I have done last...
One day when it gets above 50... I promiced the salesman who sold it to me a ride... Will he ever be shocked!
Just thought I'd mention I have a cool scoot as everyone there always comes and looks and asks about what's new!
anyone else with a similar story?

,,,it's no wonder they come out for a look...
My aspirations are much more modest:
Mod # 1 ...put ETON rectangular mirrors in place of the wimpy round ones...
#2 both headlites on (when you tell me how you did yours... :D )
#3 call Taffspeed and discuss their CDI (with 10-10-297, U.K. calls are only $.05/min), and get hop-up advice from as many guys as will give it...
...oh, yeah, break the motor in hehehe

For the headlight change over go to the "parts install" thread and there is awiring diagram there, it's extremely simple and fast to do

King go talk to me and my buds at Riva forum. Tons of great info.
Larry-new, are you familiar with relays? You CAN have one light for low, and then two for high beams. One of these days I'll do a how to with pics!

This is all off the top of my head, so bear with me........
most relays have the following posts 85,86,87,87a,30 they need to be hooked up as follows
85 connect to high beam "hot"
86 connect to any ground
87A connect to nothing
87 goes to low beam hot
30 loops back to high beam hot
Now, when high beams are turned on, 85,86 activate the coil, wich connects 30 to 87. when the coil is not active 30 goes to 87a.
does this make any sense??
