So my carb the 24MM OKO w/ no filter is being really picky with everything. I was thinking that since I am running an open carb that I would need much larger jets then stock(whatever size those are).
Currently:
Main jet is a 130 and the top end is awesome.
Now the pilot jet. This is the most annoying jet in the world. You have to take the bottom of the carb off. Which may I add is not easy, at least not for me. Then you have to put it back on, that is a whole post all in itself.
First I put in a 48 and it ran decently and I thought the problem was with the main jet. It was running to rich so I switched out the 48 with a 45 and it ran worse then the 48. . I dropped the main to the 130 and the top end was great and the bottom end was horrible. Then I changed out the 45 to a 48 again thinking that maybe now it is lean. But no it was running bad still.
So then I figured hell maybe I will have better with the 42 stock jet. I put that one in and it runs really nice. Almost no sputtering, but there is still very little sputtering. I think a 40 will be perfect.
