to provoscooter.com, but not to vBulletin, or forums in general.

so a few months ago I assulted craigslist for a car that would be worth what I paid for it in 2 years...and I came across papa beast.

a 1976 Oldsmobile cutlass cruiser, with the legendary Olds 455 in it. I won't say what I paid for it, but its about what the 455/TH400 combo in running/driving condition is worth. so I drove it around for a few weeks, and I realized a 4700 lb 19 foot long monster, getting 8 mpg, is NOT practical for DD service. so I bought this.

I know its a vento, I know its a 2003, I think it has a 125cc engine, and that's about it. can anyone tell me what model it is, and if $300 was a rip off or not?

it says 'turbostream' on the front clip if that means anything...

Welcome. Nice Cutlass - that's an A-body, right? G's are cool to, though. I've had one of each. A '70 Malibu (Chevelle SS454 clone), and a '78 ElCamino (200ci six that I replaced with a HO 305 from an '86 IROC). I'm more of a Mopar guy, but I like everything.

I don't know about your Vento, but if it's running and riding for $300, you can't go wrong. Plus it's going to pay for itself pretty soon anyhow.

I had a 82 olds cutless suprime I stuffed a 455 in it hurst shifter among other mods. Sold it before leaving for the army. I also had a 71 mavric gabber with a 351 in it and my mom had a 71 chevelle when I was a teenager with a 350. Something about that american muscle! With gas prices just cant drive them like you used to be able to when gas was 1.00 a gallon. Guess thats why I have a scooter! I really miss the good ole days!
