Hello all,

Since my oil pump died and killed my cylinder head, piston and rings, I decided to pre-mix oil and gas after re-installing a new 70cc kit.

What is the best way to closed the oil injection system on a 03 vino classic 2T? What is the best ratio? I've been told 32:1 or 40:1.

Vino is Stock except the below.

- Uni Open air filter
- 17.5mm Arreche Carb (5175 16) <-- Would anyone know pilot and jet size to use?
- 70cc Kit (don't know yet but something better than a Airsal that was installed when I got it.)
- PM Tuning Racing exhaust

I'll post some pictures of the cylinder head and piston later.

best thing is to remove the gear from the oil pump and reinstall the pump without the gear. you'll have remove the fan shroud, fan, stator rotor (u can rent a three arm gear puller from your local auto parts store), and stator (please!! use a #3 phillips screw driver socket bit). u should also consider replacing the gasket behind the stator. once u have all this off you'll see the oil pump with gear and a white nylon gear on the drive shaft. you'll have to remove circlip first then the white nylon gear. the oil pump is bolted down with one hex stud. then you can remove the e clip that holds on metal gear on the pump. than slap it all back together. good luck....

you cab check out my crank swap thread (with pics) over on ZUMAFORUMS.NET (dont hate provo) in the Vino Villa sub forums.. i would have linked the thread but im on my phone right now.
GOOD LUCK!

What would you recommend for the pilot and main jet sizes? I was thinking starting with 95 main jet.

pm tuning racing exhaust????? i hope that pipe doesnt over rev the engine. these stock cranks can only spin so fast before going kaboom. get an rpm tach and keep the revs under 10k rpms.

Yeah, I have a rpm tach that I can use. Thanks for the tip.
