Ok finally finished tuning my Scooter well for the most part. I had 3.9g rollers in it to start and it sucked when you get the over range kit Haevy rollers are the way to go use the 4.7g rollers it comes with not the 3.9g ones.

Anyways I put in the 4.7g rollers it tops out at 65 mph with the 3.9g rollers it only topped out at 52 mph anyways this thing FLYS and when it gets up on the pipe it pulls hard very hard I can pop up the front tire with no problem doing 25mph to 30 mph now I have it all tuned I stuck it on the dyno and it pumps out 22.3 hp which I was impressed did not think it would be that high I have a print out just need a scanner to scan the pic then I will post the report kinda neat you can see where it gets up on the pipe and goes I might try 5g rollers in it see if I get more top speed but I am very very happy with it now.

Took it to a friends house today also and Raced his little brother on his 110cc Dirt bike and I smoked him that also impressed me nice being able to pass cars and not get passed heh.

This thing is a damn Rocket I will get some pics as soon as I find a working Camera or take the one from work hehe.

A fellow Over Range Brother!

YEAH!

I rode for 1 mile in a circle around my block... but it's only 15mph where I live and I was doing 25ish... the wheel did come up easy... just need the freaking wheelie bar now...

I'd love to get mine on a dyno... 22HP, much better then the 7 something stock!

ROCK ON!

How many cc? I've never seen a 22hp scooter on the street. Actually, there aren't many on the track. Those track guys have ported racing cylinders at +18:1 compression, inner rotor ignitions, tuned cases, 28mm carbs, high-end exhausts that they've tuned to the cylinder.... The list goes on. They replace pesky parts like pistons and varios every few hours. Stock is less than 5hp at the crank, by the way.

wow... 22 hp? Yes... show us the dyno chart!

The Derbi Stage III (http://www.provoscooter.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=36_37&products_id=119) makes 18HP so 22HP is not that far fetched...

MK forums say 16hp for the SP model; 20hp for the PRO RACE model and they are working on an 80cc with 26.5hp!!!!

People say all kinds of stuff. Bolt one of those on your scooter, take it over to the dyno, and see what it says. For a tuner the difference between 18 and 22 hp is months of grinding, testing, JB Weld over your mistakes, and try again.

Ok here is the chart right off the computer I figured out how to doit well atleast this chart.

That has to be the highest torque 70cc cylinder on earth. Plus 10hp at 7.5K? Matter of curiosity, how do you get a dyno reading before the clutch is even engaged?

Angelfire

it gets the Rpm off of a RPM light you hook up to your scooter and you do a run and it will calculate the readings then calculate the hp before the clutch engauges thats how that works acually pretty simple.

i dont see a replica cylinder making over 12h.p. even with NOS that cylinder cannot get over 18h.p. a 22h.p. bike will go way past 65mph.

it probally will go over 65 but I still need to play with rollers only 4.7g in there now

A Zuma with overrange, 4.75 gr and 13/42 primaries does 60mph at 13.5K. 65mph would require about 14K. Better have some tall gears.

Hey Angelfire where in Wisconsin are you located? How much do you guys charge for a dyno run?

I agree I can't see that happening that is ALOT of juice, even with the work that youv'e done.Might wanna check your dyno to make sure everything is right and re-dyno it, or try another dyno to check if they both read about the same.

Hey does anyone know how much horsepower to the rear wheel a evo kit does on a mineralli bike with a evo carb, liquid cooled evo cylinder, evo pipe and evo transmition???Im just wondering..because this kits is liquid cooled and its about 450-500 for just the bore....so i just want to compair...i bet the polini EVO KIT WONT EVEN MAKE 23 HORSEPOWER TO THE REAR WHEEL...maybe to the crank...

I don't think you could get more than 15-17 at the crank (which is a whole lot), and that would require an inner rotor ignition with some careful tuning. C20/C21 would be a better pipe. That dyno chart was not made on a scooter dyno. Doesn't even look like a scooter curve. You can't get 22hp from an MHR Rep. Not even with nitrous. Regardless of how much you carve on the cylinder and head, no getting around the friction of that second ring.

brah i have seen euro videos with guys running evos and mhr teams on there race bikes making over 20 at the rear wheel. hahahahahaha you must really be scared of your friend minarelli motors dusting that honda of yours. hahahaha. push that thing off a cliff and get a yamaha.

Those cylinders are tuned. Wish I knew where to get a 20hp bolt-on 70cc.

Pinky i heard that the 2Fast4Race cylinder kit is supposed to make over 23h.p. out of the box. that kit is i think 78cc.

They're for Piaggio motors only. You don't just bolt on 23hp. You've got to get the right pipe. Right carb setup. Inner rotor ignition set properly (no lights). You'll have to retune your carb daily, possibly during the day. You'll be running race gas. Your spare parts bin will include rings, pistons, belts, varios, and primary shaft bearings. Order plenty, because you'll be going through them.
