Vino luggage rack and basket, in one!

Hey guys, I was frustrated looking for a luggage and basket solution for my vino and only finding cheesy looking helmet boxes. So I built my own. Its a rack that has come in handy for shipping packages, as well as transporting a case of beer, and a pizza! And when I need to go grocery shopping I just attach the basket(no tools required) and I can easily fit all of my groceries in the basket and under my seat. The one shown is made of cheap pine, but the new ones are going to be built of Oak and stained and Poly treated as well. They dont require any hardware mounted directly to the rack either! The rack is 100$.

Sweet! How does the caged basket mount to the platform? If you can do it without tools and undo it easily, you got something pretty neat going on.

You use a bolt and a wing nut through the basket into the rack. Its very sturdy. I just built 2 for some guys who are going from houston to portland on vino 125's!
