Anyone know of a good Zuma mechanic in Houston?
I've given up fighting with my scoot :)

I had a friend strip out the bolt holding on the variator. :(
Fixing it is beyond my scope and I do not have the tools for it.

Sometimes the nut strips, sometimes the crank. If it's the nut, no sweat. If it's the crank, you can get a threading die at the hdwr store and rethread it.

That Means making it a Smaller Size Doe if the Original is Stript you will have to Metric Down a Point...

Sometimes you can go American without too much cutting. My manifold bolt holes were out of threads. I tapped the 6mm holes to 1/4x20. The 1/4 bolt is a little smaller in diameter than the 6mm, but the coarse threads are bigger. Worked great.
