aside from buying new parts (stage two please....!) which i can't afford right now, are there any other things i can do, as far as tuning goes (besides the rollers), to increase my top speed on my vino? i've re-jetted, got a kevlar belt, michelin s1 tires, and a longer than stock rear shock, as well as stage one exhaust and variator. i drive a lot of long highway stretches, so the faster the better... don't care about acceleration quite as much. i hear talk about gears and other tuning areas from time to time, but don't know much of anything about any of it, would like to learn anything i can! thanks.

Devon,
If you have your vario tuned per my other posts you're getting about all the speed you're going to get without going to a bigger cylinder (i.e. stage two). An upgear MIGHT work if you live in a really flat area and don't mind horrible acceleration, but the kit will cost you $99 plus shipping and the cost of having a shop press the gears for you. I suspect clutch wear will be accelerated as well. A stage two upgrade makes more sense.

yep... I agree... more than likely the upgear isn't gonna help till after stage 2... simply upgrading to more then the 50cc can handle...
