Hi.
I want to improve my 4000 miles BW`S 125.
Should i start with a new exhaust and air filter or not?
And after this??

Thanks.

Exhaust is a good place to start because its easy. I don't think you get the most gains for the price though on a 4 stroke. transmission upgrades are also a great place to look for performance.

exhaust wont do anything, maybe 1-2 mph top speed but most only do loud noise. Not worth the $300+ cost
get a variator, still usually wont give any top speed but will help with acceleration and throttle response.
now what type, thats a different story. You will have to research that. I use rrgs variator, contra spring, and clutch bell.
I use stock rollers, stock clutch, stock finned front face. I like how this setup runs. Ive tried battle scooter variator and it felt exactly like stock. Some say it does better then stock. I had tested mine on flat ground and hills, and got same speeds as stock. Where the rrgs was faster up hills up to +5 mph. Top speeds was same as stock. So who knows. Everyone will have different experiences. Its best to get one used if possible, this way if it doesnt work out you wont spend alot. The only one I got used was the rrgs, at a dirt cheap price and its the only one ive kept.

Also dont get the polini variator, it wont work at all

best bang for the buck would be a BBK
