Malossi Torsion Controller - Minarelli

Hey has anyone tried this and any of the three (white, yellow and red) springs? is it worth a few bucks to try it or are the vari weights and springs a better way to go? is there a way to figure out which weights and springs to use?

I have one on my Jog and I like it. But I also had one on it that was so bad it wouldnt downsift all the way. They are not normally needed on a stock bore though. So a new stock spring may do you just as well. I have the Yellow clutch springs too. Really the only way to find out is trial and error. I would go get a set of 15x12 tuner weights. They come in 4-5 different weights so you can try each or mix and match to get the best for YOUR scooter. Then get the set of 3 torque springs, and a set of 3 clutch springs. Then you just test, test, test. Changing one thing at a time to see how you like it. If you had to pick one thing to do, I would do lighter rollers. Maybe 5-5.5 gram.
