automatic transmission problem

I have a 2005 zipr3i turbo cam 50cc and when i first got it it would idle and it didn't go know where until you twisted the throttle and then it engaged and went forward but now it is constantly engaged and it kills my engine when i stop. i am trying to figure it out so if anyone has had this kind of problem before i would greatly appreciate there knowledge and help on the matter.

Sounds like a clutch problem,like it is not disengaging. That is what I would look at first.

There is a big spring inside of your clutch called the "Contra" spring.It holds the halves of your clutch pulley apart, until centrifugal force closes them, and your scoot starts moving. Your symptoms are consistant with a Contra Spring having lost it's tension. Gabe::usa::
