Utah "Red LIght Runners"

Well 6 of my friends have scooters so we decided to start a club. We named it "Red Light Runners" cause as everyone knows you get stuck at a light and end up having to run it. I just wanted everyones opnion on how you think i should start the club. Im gonna get a website, Attend local scooter rides, Stickers etc etc and just word of mouth. Everyone seems pretty serious about this. I hope it all works out. wish me luck :)

I'd love to get something like that up here... Only problem is I've only seen 2 other scooters... A metropolitan and a larger style probably a 250cc size?

Only thing I can say is Cops would love to hear that name... Wouldn't want it on a riding jacket... Just my 2 cents... I'd think it'd give em a reason to mess with you.

LOL, most cops know that an SC name is usually just for flash, they also know scooters, mopeds, and bicycles usually won't trip a lot of lights. I about ran one after sitting at the light for three minutes with not a car coming down the road for all that time.

Yea not fond of the name here either- even if it is a joke. I think it puts a negative thought in someones mind (not just cops, the public as well).

Say a soccer mom is driving down the road and sees you. The kids think it is awesome and want a scooter when they are old enough which will help our community grow. The mommy sees your name and gets a negative tone by your jacket and thinks we are all "biker trash".

I guess that might be a little extreme but why out a negative thought in someones head to start with- can't help with our image.

Not all know that the bike won't trip stop lights as well so they might take it serious.

I'm not all too bothered by the name, hell after meeting guys from the Dead Chicken Anal Rapers SC, not much shocks me anymore. Hey you need to tell us what you think of that F-12. Been waiting to hear about them for a while now.

OH man i love my f-12. 50+ derestricted. It just looks so sexy. The headlights are really the only complant, there just not bright enough. I'm probley gonna sawp them out for some projector fog lights. Ive had no problems since i got it. people i talk to says it looks faster then it goes, I need to change that.

I put some blue led lights in front and some red ones in the back glowing all over my exhaust and tires. Im gonna powder coat my rims black, Get some black turn signals and everything else performance wise.

Oh ya i almost forgot i added a electric speedo cause my scooter's speedo tops out at 50mph ;)

Yeah, I hate my Vino's lights as well. You got that backlit LCD display on there for your speedo if I recall? I was actually thinking of them as an alternative if I were to get a sport scooter.

Ya the speedo lights up at night. Its pretty hott achually, i will get a picture tonight.
