I have a Kymco Agility 125 with no compression. I've had it checked twice and confirmed that there is no compression..

Its got some 35,000 km on it.

I feel like the lack of compression is either bad rings or bad valves. I haven't gone in to check but I will soon.

Any suggestions on what else I might look for?

If its rings and there's damage to the cylinder wall, I'm just going to put a 150cc conversion on it and that should solve the problem. However, if the problem is with the valves, that won't be a solution.

I'm also considering just buying a new 150cc engine and mounting it right up giving me a fresh everything and most likely avoiding problems with other things that might be going bad.

If you buy a new engine, what would you want for the kymco engine?????

do your compression test and squirt some light oil in to the cylinder
that will tell you if the rings or valves are bad ( if your compression goes up
with the oil its the rings )

Harry is right.

Im thinking its probably the rings.

wow 21,747 miles on this engine. I am suprised it would last this long. Why not invest a bit more money to get a set of good quality big bore kit and new timing chain and guide.
