Help! Identify parts needed please.

Got this scooter not long ago. It's a 2008 LB500QT-6. It needs a few things, but the only one I cannot figure out using the parts diagrams online is what is needed to cover that 'thing' up. Is that the magneto? Should it be covered w/ a fan and a shroud? I just don't know. Can someone link me to the parts that I need?

Okay, so I just realized that something seriously wrong happened with the crankshaft there. How does something like that happen?

there is a fan shroud that goes on top of the flywheel/magneto

why do you say the crank is bad?
the valves could be adjusted wrong that would be a reason someone has taken of the shroud ... so they could see the timing marks

Look like you have QMB139 engine, with engine mounting at the bottom of the crankcase.
Yes you need cooling fan and cooling fan shroud, and don't drive your scooter without it...., it will gets overheat.

No worries. I erased the links above. you are fine to post links as long as they don't go to competitor sites with parts for purchase. if you find just an informative site or a manufacturer site thats fine.
