I need to know what the torque specs are on the variator nut on a vento zip? Thanx in advance.

You Can Do That By Hand you dont need much torque on the Nut

just make shure it's Tight?

Yeah rydah Correct i did it by hand lot's of times and never had one Come off!! o_o

My wheelies are magic.... :naught: I think I might win I dunno my bike will be pretty fast.The other guys must have pretty fast bikes to beat me though.:naught:(wide:you must have misunderstood what I said) Lets not start a contest though. Thanx you guys for the info on the torque. I will just impact it on and go.

Yeah there will be a video and maybe a pic or two but lol lets not start a contest again on whos gonna be fastest. We will know soon though probaly around mid april. :naught:

ohhh yea deffinetly taking pictures...im going to get my bro in his 200sx to get his camara and im going to get my friend to film it while my brother follows us...its probebly going to be on the highway...i cant wait...

Just curious. But what race, and give info on how to find sponser online. may want to keep tabs on this one. Oh, don't care who wins, as long if it's a member of our forum family. Give props to the provo!

We will end up racing a 1/4. I'm not sure what you mean buy a sponsor give me some more info on what you mean.I will definetely give props to provo. Well back to torque for now. I want to know if anyone knows the torque spec for the flywheel/magneto or should I just impact it on aswell?

The magneto has a Screew but theres more to it then that there is a Clip in back of the Screew which has to be bang out with a Very Small Point.. Dont let the Treads full you the magneto Do not Screew out!!! All the Time it Comes out once the PIN has been Removed.. you may allready know this.

As Far As the flywheel as you mean or mean Clutch just use your Own tool!

thats funny, on my Zuma you need to unthread the nut, then use a harmonic balancer puller to remove the magneto.... by "clip" do you mean "woodruff key"? (the half moon shaped pin?)

Thanks.. yeah that what i was saying did not know the the Clip was called you say a Woodruff key.. on my old scooter Lennox, i Broke the magneto thinking it was sopose to Screew out what a Dummy,i was Hehe i turned it counter clockwise and snaped it.... :angry:

Its not professional, I wish it was though, racing so we dont need any sponsers. ITs just a race between me and some of the other guys on provo, Just to see who has the fastest scoot in VA.
