Handlebar Blinker lights

Hello,
How do these install? Can't be threaded all the way down the handlebar, there aren't any holes?
My friends say that drilling a hole in the handlebar would ruin the integrity!
Any suggests?

are they for the end of the handle bar? If so then there isn't a problem as long as you can press or thread them in...

I wouldn't drill into the handle bar anywhere... next thing you know it'll snap...
