Question....

Does anyone here own a BW? just wondering how they are in comparison to the Vino Classic....same speed? they look more durable.


any comments?

A few of us do.

I have a Zuma which is what they are called in the USA.

I bought the Zuma instead of the Vino because:

I don't like the retro look of the Vino and the Zuma looks to ME more of a man's scooter

disc brake in the front

higher ground clearance

longer wheel base

tires are better for my local conditions including dirt roads and so on

few other things I can't think of right now as well....

It seems the Zuma is having some issues on the modifications as well- Vino you get more speed for your buck on the mods but that could also be due to installer errors or a number of other things.

Is yours modified in anyway? Whats the max speed? I'm assuming it's 49cc. I like my vino but it dosn't cut it in terms of speed. I need to be able to keep up with traffic....doing about 10KM under the limit right now. So i was just thinking for next season weather to sell my vino for somthing else or maybe do a stage 1

2004 Zuma without any mods.

Well took off the Zum stickers and both headlights on instead of 1 at a time but no performance mods. I have been trying to find close to me to work on my scooter but no luck so far.

I have no idea what speed is- I can peg the speedo stock on flat ground. Most speedos are not very accurate or if anything error on the side of showing you going too fast. Notice has nobody complains when you are going 46 bone stock but would be yelling at anyone that would listen if it only read 37- sales pitch........

So anyway- I think the Zuma and Vino are about the same stock so really it is a matter of preferance in styling.

edit- yes mine is 49cc but they do make a 101cc Zuma/BWS as well.
