hey everyone i just joined today and i have a few questions... i am thinkin about doing a stage one on the Triton R4... and i am wondering if it will give me alot better take off... im not worried about top speed cause 50 it plenty fast but i need better acelaration... and will the R pipe make it alot louder or no? cause i like it being quite that way i can go whenever i want and not wake anyone up... but noise isnt a problem really... i just want more take off... so do you think stage one will help alot?

You might've came in during the lull period. We have spurts of traffic on the board depending on the time. Weekends are dead on here, weekdays we pump traffic from the regs.

I'm sorry but I read this and am unaware of the scooter your refering to...

I don't want to pass on my knowledge of the Zuma and throw you off...

Seen it with another scooter that everyone thought was a 2 stroke and it was actually a 4 stroke...

Anyone out there know about this scooter and have info to pass on?

It's a Vento, I believe, it's the next model up from the R3i.

yup its the triton R4... i think i posted it in the vento...forum..

it is a 2 stroke... i just dont like the take off on it... i love the top speed of it... but the take off needs a little more... its seems to be gettin stronger off the line... i only have 60 some miles on it... so maybe it will pirk up after 200... thanks guys

i put a set of 1500rpm clutch springs in my zipr3i and it made a world of differance. Pulling out in traffic is not scary any more !!!also I up jetted but i would try the springs first !! e mail me if you need to find these clutch springs.
