Stage 2 Kit by-pass lubricant pump?

With the new Mallossi 19mm carb (manual choke) from my stage 2, will I have to by-pass the lubricant pump? Does this mean I have to add oil to my fuel everytime I go to fill up. Will the oil reservoir not be used any more?

Please help before the mechanic tells me something else?

Just got my stage 2 kit in today.

Also, What shims should I start off with for the new torque spring, I weigh 185 lbs on a vino 2002.

1st... if it's an airsal cylinder it has a slip in it that says that you must premix and not use the auto injector...

I choose this as well as some other members after seeing cylinder damage... however other members use the pump on 70cc kits and are fine...

Try it without a shim and work your way up with which ever feels best...

I bought a 5 gallon gas can that fill with 20oz of synth oil and then 5g of gas. I just fill up from that until it's gone and fill it up again. That only sucks if I forget to fill it up again. :angry:

128 oz = 1 gallon...

36:1 is 2% @ 1 gallon...

which is just under 4 oz... if you put 4 oz per gallon your okay...

it's a little higher than required but works fine... Might be a hair smokey...

I have a conversion chart I posted on the forums but I can't find it... try running a search for it... it tells you for 1 gallon, 1.5 gallons, and 2 gallons from almost no oil to almost 1/4 oil... pretty good info...

Just takes a little arithmetic... just figure out what your engine needs in the way of oil and store a small bottle in the bottom of your underseat bin.

Gasoline is an excellent solvent... pour it in, shake your scoot a bit, and it's well mixed.

Trust me... it works. ;)
