Does anyone knows the recommended air pressure for the Michelin S-1 tires for our Vino scooters? I looked on the tire but I could not find the recommendation. Thanks in advance for the information.

I'd go with what the stock tire was at... they should be close... I think the zuma's are at 25psi... so somewhere in that range...

The manual on my 05 Zuma says 29 psi. I run that but the cracks in the road seem a little harsh. Stock tires.

You telling me the roads are very bad these days the Best thing to do is to try to avoid them Some say it's better to Reduce the air when it comes to Cracks on the Road!!!

you should go with no more than the max pressure on the tire... if it says 25psi... don't exceed it...

4 psi isn't gonna make a big enough difference in the ride, to risk damaging the tire while riding and having it blow...

What ply tires are those? 2 or 4?

is that the maximum they'll take or is that recommended? i've been running my s1s at the stock psi, which is 25... 32 and 35 sounds like quite a jump!

You are right I do not know why I gave that PSI numbers, I am following the scooter stock recommended tire pressure too. ;no

Some reasons why stock tire pressure is low is because the stock Vino suspension isn't the greatest, and neither are the stock tires. The S-1 is a much better higher performance tire, and I find that they perform best at peak pressure. This does stiffen the ride a little, but my MDI shock helps out greatly.

yeah the stock vino shocks arent much at all you can twist the springs around with your hand easily. I think it makes them handle kinda bad too.But yeah a good shock would help alot.

Good info Jered. I checked the side wall on the stock CS on my Zuma and sure enough it said 25 psi. I lowered to that from 29 and it seems to ride a little better. I wounder shy Yamaha manual and labels say 29.
