I have a 1995 eton beamer two stroke 50cc with 6300 miles on it. I plan on a new top end for it, but I was wondering, can I put a 70cc or 90cc jug and piston on it? or just stick with the 50cc rebuild? I am 6'1" and 220 lb, so the power would be appreciated, if I can. Anyone do this before?
p.s. I also heard eton is basically a yamaha clone, and that parts will match up. any validity to this?

I'm with the understanding that the Beamer uses a Minarelli clone engine. 70cc sport top end will get you going nicely. You need to do some research and see if you have the 10 or 12mm wristpin, though. Many of the clones use the larger size. Most kits are available either way.
