Diagram on how to make it so your bug-eyed Zuma will have both lights lit on high and low beams.

Two bolts in the front, one shiney one above the bug-eyes and one
just below the headlights recessed right between them (black/hard to
see). Both of the front ones are 10mm hex heads. Then there are two
screws at the top of the plastic assembly facing the rider seat going
throw the black plastic into the fron blue or grey plastic front
(phillips head screws). The bug-eyes themselves do not come off, you
have to pull the whole front fascia off to access the wires.

What happened to the pic? I would love to have a howto on this in the howto section...

"What happened to the pic?" It comes up for me. I linked it to the Yahoo site since it was too big (41Kb is too big?) to upload on here.

I tried to put it in the how-to, however I am unable to post there? To keep the info reliable are only Mods allowed in there?

I'm getting a X broken image too, but when I tried to directly access the image, I got a 404 like it was removed. Maybe for bandwidth exceeded issues? If you email the iamge to me, I can size it and post it for you. The max file size to upload on to the board here is 39kb.

I was able to post in the how-to, but I'm not sure how Erich has the permissions set to. Though since it's not actually part of the forums directly, limiting the access to posting there does make sense. It wouldn't take much for it to be heavily over posted if it was open. The How-To is going to be for full length articles. My basic shopping guide there was posted merely to have something there.

Email ready and will send it next time I am online (on LAN right now at work and don't send email from here- just access it and get things ready to send out...)

I think I am going to have one light on for low, and two for high. After I do it, i'll post details.

That diagram is WAY TO DETAILED... There is no need to add 4 wires... Litterally you take the wires and run them from 1 light to the other... The blue and the red ones are all I used...

Mine work great and are bright as hell... well maybe that bright...

WHAT are the green and yellow wires (in the drawing) supposed to do? Thats very confusing...

Makes me brain fart... And I have done this mod.... Just with less wires and easier!

I just copied it from another site.

I did mine myself before I knew there was instructions out there.....

I think someone should edit the picture and KV move it over to a how-to section for others to see without all of our chatter associated with it?

My lights are both on all the time with no low/high setting so I need to re-do it. I don't ride at night so didn't really matter but wanted to do it correct. When I let off the gas you can see the light dim- when I re-wire it correct will that problem go away?

I didn't like the 1 light on- cops thought I had a burnt out headlight and gave them 1 more reason to check me out further- no good.

The dimming at idle is a motorcycle wide problem... sorry it won't correct that...
