Advice needed

Heya guys,
Im having a new exhaust (standard) fitted by my local bike shop next week and wonderd if they will upjet the carb if required. when i get the bike back how will i know if im running lean ?

This is a shot of my plug (current exhaust) is it running lean ?

Once the new pipes fitted il put in a new spark plug and take another shot

Plug looks ideal now, so if a fresh plug gets lighter after putting on the new (less restrictive?) exhaust, upjet to match that original rich coffee color.

Make sure you do PLUG CHOPS not just a median plug read meaning a reading for Idle, 1/4 throttle and WOT

Yup, plug looks good to me.

Will your local bike shop upjet? It all depends on the instructions given to them by you. Some of the better shops will do that with the exhaust upgrade, the others won't (for various reasons).

Are you going to upgrade your intake as well?
