I was pokin' around the forum & came across a thread that mentioned how to get a Zuma to pump out 15-20hp. Somebody mentioned an evo (guessing kit). Whats the story with that? Would a Zuma live long pumping out that much hp?

probably not... the EVOlution and Team MHR cylinders turn 13K+ rpm's as well as have 15:1 and higher compression...
According to Erich they are only good for around 20 hours before a rebuild is required...
then again, it's got to do with how you tune them... Rydah has an Evo kit on one of his scooters if I remember correctly...
Any time you are spinning extreme RPM's and running high compression there is potential for disaster... but...

I don't believe you can get 15hp with stock ignition. Maybe, but not likely. Guys with that kind of power get 800-1000mi on a ring, new piston every 2-3 rings. The cylinders can last a while. The Evo is handy because you can get one for a 10mm crank. Detune it with the pipe and it could last a long time. Instead of a C20/C21, go with a C16 and keep your revs mostly in the 12's/low 13's. If you want to go whole hog, think MetraKit ProRace. You can get parts in the US.

i will take the evo over the pro race any day. the evo has better coating on the cylinder so it does last longer. the evo has always lasted longer than any of the other race cylinders because polini uses the best cylinder coating. i can get parts for my evo anytime i want and without ordering them. i just go to the moped shop and get it right then. race cylinders can be riden on street scooters no problem. i dont listen to what dealers say about them, they only there to sell you more and more parts. buy what you like no matter the brand.
