I have a 2008 JM Star Scooter which I just LOVE. I bought it with 650 miles on it. It now has started to have some issues. It loses power. It has no rhyme or reason to when or where, so it is frustrating to the mechanics that have tried to fix it. I bring it to them and when I start it up again it is fine so they can't figure out what is wrong. This is what happens... I can be riding along with it being perfect when all of a sudden it just loses power. I can't get it over 30 (unless going downhill) and going uphill is just embarassing. It is a lot quieter when in this 'mood'. It doesn't have to be warmed up, it doesn't have to be cold, there is just no 'trick' to getting it to happen and getting it to be fine. Then it comes back to 'life' at any time (not that often, but it does). I have been to the scooter experts twice. I have had people look at it. I just want it to be better. No one can figure this out. I have changed the plug, checked the carberator, tried a fuel additive, checked the air filter etc. Who has the magic answer... I will buy you a beer!! DANCECLOWN
