Is this right??

7.5HP out of the box on a 50cc scooter???

Then for $529 can get a stage II from PROVO (http://www.provoscooter.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=123&osCsid=8c62bc777e909befcc2325af90262c0a) to get 12 HP????

This topic (http://www.provoscooter.com/vbull/showthread.php?t=1691) says that a 230lbs person can go 45? A 100cc BWS puts out 7.2HP and goes 56MPH, this one puts out 7.5HP- so with a stage 1 this thing should get up to the high 50's I would think?

yea derbi is the ****! I have a totally stock motor (restricted still) and i can get going close to 55 on a long straight road.

They do claim to have the fastest stock 50cc in the world. I'll have a 50cc one day and either the atlantis or the GP1 might be the one I get.

$3K+ out the door it should be the fastest in the world!

Pricely little thing I would say- but then again my Zuma was $2200 out the door and would take me $1K in parts to get it to 55 so I guess you get what you are paying for.

You gotta count on paying a lot more for a 50cc that's water cooled or fuel injected or both. Do you know what the hp rating is on the Atlantis?
