I know there was an Atlantis 125cc version available for the last several years..of course not for us USA folks..Piaggio also has the Granturismo Vespa 200cc engine..Hmm....look for the ET-2 ..and the ET-4 engine being incorporated into the Derbi line...A former Derbi West Parts supplier told me that Piaggio is proud of the Derbi Line and is letting the factory do its thing..but it will release new stuff..(You know what i mean if you have seen the New GP-1)...I just wish aftermarket parts were more available!!!...It's KILLIN ME!! o-- John.........Oh..to answer your question...Europe doesnt seem to care about us..There are always several more models available overseas...that we never see.....Check out the Yamaha Aerox...50cc and 100cc....we arent a big enough market..I bet half of the Zuma owners on this forum...would have something different if they had a bigger choice

I couldn't agree more! you would think with the huge presense of at least Honda and Yamaha that they would offer better scooters to the USA market, instead we only get the ruckus, metropolitan, vino, zuma and the god aweful Honda elite 80. For whatever reason not a single 'sport scooter' I guess H&Y think that americans only want the retro looking scooters like the vino and metro. ( yeah i know about the silverwing, burgman, etc. Those aren't scooters in my opionion). Who knows, maybe if they see Aprilia, derbi, Kymco doing business they (H&Y) might bring in some more bikes.
