Variator Upgrade Help Please!

I have a question about the variator for the Vento. What are some of the benefits of this new variator? Is it necessary to purchase the variator if I am upgrading to the 70cc kit? I am also upgrading the carb and exhaust if that matters.

Also, why would I buy clutch springs?

the tranny's are a lot alike on all our scooters...

so I'll tell you about my zuma experience...

if you don't adjust the clutch with new springs then the clutch will open to soon and not allow the engine to reach the power band....

the variator does basically the same thing.... over all the aftermarket ones are better quality and are better performance tuned than the stock....

I'd recommend the variator as well as the 70cc, pipe and carb... get a stage 2 kit...

Thanks, that helps a lot! I was just a bit confused about the variator. I didn't realize it was part of the clutch. I am just starting to learn how to adjust and fix scooters. I only have experience riding dirt.
