Ok so here is the build I'm working on now.since there is a scooter race coming up in july and I haven't raced in over 15years, I figure I build a bike for it since I have been itching to race for a while. There is a scooter racing organization that started not to long ago in portland and now made its way up north to seattle and vancouver,bc. That got me all pumped up and decided to build a bike for this.here is the website of that group. http://pacificscooterracing.com/ .

I got this from an older guy the day he posted it on craigslist. A bit beatup but fixable.I'm going to swap stuff in it anyways.

This will be epic, what are you plans for mods at this point. Are you going to go stroker combo with this or a different route. How much weight does the aluminum wheels shave off? Did you order them or did you have them aroiund? Your not using your 125cc engine you have are you? i know thats your drag engine so I imagine not.

Looks good, Do you always use dunlop for your elites? I run with Michelin boppers what are you opinions on those?

the dunlops are way stickier than the michelin. the dunlop tt91 and tt92 are dot race tires. so pretty much racing slicks. You should try the irc mb99 tires. its a street/dirt tire but soft thread and pretty sticky. for the price not bad too .cheaper than the michelins.

sorry for not updating. I was busy at work and trying to get this bike done. the race was this past sunday and it went well. took 1st in 190cc mod class and 1st in moped/auto class. I raced mostly against 190cc vespas and 225 lambrettas. I was racing with a 72cc bore kit so I was 130cc under the rest of the guys.
