Just watched it..
Yep, the vino looks great.
Unfortunately the video has music sound track.
id like to hear the sound of the vino at 0-40 mph
I never heard them.. Do vino sound like grass trimmers... like the other scooters in general?

I moved this on you...
Are you looking to buy one? or decide to mod the one you have?
anyway, stock they all are pretty quiet... my zuma sounded like a weedwacker to start... now it sounds like a monster running down the road...
just depends on what you do to it... I have a RACE pipe on it... so it's WAY louder than even the LeoVince ZX pipe I had... But I like the noise... You know... as harley guys say... LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES... or just piss people off! LOL!

My Vino with the stock exhaust was really really quiet, even at 40 mph. Much quieter than my Honda Twinstar motorcycle (185cc parallel twin). With the Next R pipe it's louder, but not excessively so. Not as loud as a weedwacker or chainsaw, a bit of brapppp with a touch of ringding. About as loud as my Honda, but a different sound... definately 2 stroke.

Your vino was quiet ? what happened to your vino ? you sold it for a metro ?
heh, i like the sound coming from a 50/50 harley but for some reason i can't stand those chainsaw scooters.
Chainsaw weedwacker scooters reminds me those cicada or whatever the insects that keep doing high-pitched scary droning sound. heh

she installed a stage 1 kit, so it has an aftermarket exhaust on it. I think that's why she said "USED TO"...

Mine's not a vino so forgive me for posting, but I've been thinking my LT50 sounds a LOT like a lawn mower, LOL.

I think your Piaggio is a 2 stroke too, right? You're right, my Vino with the stock exhaust sounded a lot like our Lawnboy. It's a 2 stroke and very quiet!

I dont know if its the same crap for everyone but every season (during spring), while i sleep i can hear a neighbor who just got his new scooter practicing around my house. And they always do that sunday in the morning...
Bzzee Bzzee Bzzee Bzzee.......
It usuallly takes about a couple of weeks before they go elsewhere...or buy something else.
I hope the vino doesn't sound like a lawnmower. Because i'll probably pay them a visit and practice around their houses... :)

Ice--why don't you go to a yammy dealer and test ride a Vino?
And.... there's a good reason a national scooter newsgroup is called "Two Stroke Buzz" and my local scooter club is called the "Killer Bees" :p

Well
I doubt they do test ride in the snow.. :)
Just so you guys know, its 0 Fahrenheit outside right now. Was -3 Fahrenheit this morning.
Probably somewhere around -30 Fahrenheit with the wind factor.
damn winter... hehe

his profile says montreal...
I'm just happy someone has crappier weather than me! YEAH! I don't feel so bad!
It'd been 40ish for the past couple days... the roads are getting slushy.... heck if the weather keeps up for a couple more weeks... the snow will be gone... but that's to much to ask or march here!
We'll see....

geez... it's only 25F here right now and got down to 10F this morning. With winds gusting to 35 Lord only knows what the wind chill factor is. I'm soooo ready for spring!!!
The whole southeast is geting hammered right now. It was raining in Miami today and on the way back we still weren't on top at 37,000'. I haven't had such a lousy ride in ages. It was snowing on final approach into PIT.
Jered... 40? Think I might move to Alaska! LOL
