vento strker problems.

I have just built a jog stroker motor for my vento, 104cc, 21 carb and installed a 130 main jet, ides great and up to 1/4 throtle is fine but after that it gurgles and will not get any kind of rmps after that. does anyone know if the 130 is to large as i have played with all the needle possitions and still does the same thing.

It can be either starving or flooding. Does it smell like gas as it starts to gurgle? I wouldn't think that the jet would be too small but it doesn't hurt to play it safe when it comes to jetting. You may try getting a few sizes bigger and a few sizes smaller and start with the bigger first.

Do a WOT plug chop that will tell you if your running lean or rich with the main jet. IMO 130 too big, should be 100 - 115 for a 21mm carb.

ye I ended up running a 100 main and it works great, dam this thing flys!!!!!!
now i wonder if i could build somthing faster?????

just make sure that its not running lean with that 100 main jet. sounds kind of small for a stroker motor.

hey not to thread jack but how did yyou build that stroker of yours? was it a 50 to start with? just curious o what parts you used, its hard to find alot of info on scoots in general esp ventos

what did you want to know about my stroker?
i have done lots of mods to it scince my first posting, ended up with a 24 carb and running a 190 main.
