I noticed that more zuma parts have been taken off the site.

Are they just out of stock and will return or they gone for good?

Erich is no longer selling the Japanese style blinkers for the Vino either. He told me this when I emailed him inquiring for another Vino owner on the forum. Email Erich to see if he will still be carrying those Zuma parts.

I am glad I ordered my blinkers in early January--I may have gotten one of the last few sets he had in stock.

Sounds like I need to order those blinkers ASAP. Hope they're not out of stock already.

As to the Zuma parts, I can't imagine them being gone, unless he's found better equivalent parts. The Zuma is one of Provo's best sellers for aftermarket parts. I'd suggest dropping Erich a line if there's something anyone needs. Lots of things Provo carries are not listed in the Store Front... the Malossi MultiVar I just got from there, for instance.

That being said, I also noticed the Scooters Provo sells aren't listed lately either. TnG, Derbi, Stella... can't find the actual scooters lately, tho the Derbi and Stella are mentioned on the front page.

I have been thinking of buying a Stella in the near future. I'd rather give the business to Provo.

.

when I ordered my stage-1 ( 2 weeks ago) he said the multivar was out of stock and would be for some time... kinda sucks... I ended up with a shi**y replacement insted of the malossi.

Too bad for provo that they dont list all that they sell. I, for one, am the type of person who would rather just click-order-pay then to ask if they have something not listed. Provo would probably sell more items that way.

I live in Utah and see Erich from time to time. He hasn't mentioned any Zuma parts being gone. What parts are you looking for?

Ultimaely it gets down to what you and me do with our scooters. Mandy may have no clue how to make here (or her b/f's) scoot go faster.

In the end it's you and your scoot.

Happy tuning!!!

ummm... I have to ask... are you Erich's G/F?

Just curious... a light came on and I heard a bell ring ;)

agh...

Erich is always updating his site...

Believe it or not... there used to be a shock listed on the zuma page...

I think the most I ever saw was 29 things...

I do agree, it is hard to deal with not knowing what is exactly available for parts... however you also have to understand that erich has parts for a large number of scooters... not just one or two... So he'd have a huge amount of money tied up in
"on hand" pasrts if he kept at least one of everything.... and had them all listed on the sales page...

IE: Erich can ge any Malossi part made... he doesn't have them all listed on the sales page, simply cause he doesn't stock them... he has to order most of them for each customer who wants them...

Bottom line... he advertises the parts he has in stock on a regular basis... and deosn't the ones he would have to special order... Kinda makes since as it's easier to explain a long back order on parts you have to special order... you know...

Mandy, if you are erich's wife... cool.. if not... I wish I could visit the "store front" by being close enough...

Yeah, I am Erich's wife. I really don't know a thing about scooters except for which ones I think are cute! I do visit the boards on occassion to pretend to be interested in Erich's business. Let me know what he needs to do better-- I'll tell him to do it!

Please list all parts for every scooter that he sells parts for. thanx

oh... man... here we go again! LOL!

We have talked about this a couple times in the past...

I agree it's difficult to know what is available but it's also pretty hard to keep a good list and web page up and running with exact parts on hand...

The best I could say, if he does try this route. would be to have the software to tell how many pieces he has in stock so customers know what is back order, special order, or on hand ready to ship parts...

Just my thoughts...

I just see it being very time consuming for him... I know it's his buisness... but I also know it takes a HUGE amount of time...

BTW: erich was kind enough to get custom throttle cables made for his customers... which really rocks! It's kinda a pain to modify the stock ones to work with any aftermarket carb...

Keep in mind that maintainign a physical inventory is not only expensive but requires a lot of space, if product does not move, or sits to long Erich may have to clear oiut hsi stock from time to time just to make room for parts that are selling. Also K.I.M. that Erich has school so time it takes a good bit of time to update the software with current stock.

No problem... It would be cool for him to maybe just have a list of parts/prices that he CAN get (with a note to understand he may not stock these items and to leave extra time for shipping)...

Sounds like a way to take in more orders?

I agree... but we'll have to see what the boss and BIG BOSS (mandy) can do...

However you can go to www.malossi.com and look in the parts catalog... if it's in the malossi catalog, ERICH CAN ORDER IT!

So basically if it's a malossi part, then you can research the part and then simply email the part number to him and ask for a quote...

pretty easy...
