Will a new V-Belt speed up my Vino?

Hi,

I have a 2005 Yamaha Vino 50, 7000 km clicks, I ordered a v-belt, and am gonna replace it this weekend.

Should I notice new comfort or speed after this install?

A belt that is too narrow (which can happen with 7000km's of normal wear) will not ride up as high on the pulleys. So yes, you might notice more top speed after this.

Hi,

I installed the new yamaha factory v-belt and cleaned the clutches while i was at it. i don't notice a huge speed difference, but the ride is a lot smoother!
