does anyone know if vento 12 inch rims/tires will fit a zuma?? malformed is parting out his vento and i think it would be a nice set of rims for a zuma, much better looking. and taller rims... i guess there are too many factors to measure and stuff... but if some one has tried it... please share the info!

I think lennox tried something like this and the front worked but he couldn't get the rear to work with the brakes as they were drastically different in size...

co--
nooooooooooooo
thanks for the info, will need to chat with lennox though....
i hate our stock wheels they are nasty... zuma would look awsome with vento wheels and using a U Lock would be much easier too!!! i have an urge to buy it and try it... even just the front..

I'd have to say a mixed set of wheels would look like crap...
I just bought a disc lock on eBay for $12.00 plus shipping... I think the total was under $18.00
If you get one with a 5.5mm pin, it fits perfectly into the disc rotor... there is even 1 brand that has an alarm 5.5mm pin lock... but it was like $80 or something like that. and I didn't want to get that stupid with it...
anyway, It'd look cool to have larger tires but... I can live with the 10"ers...

10's are just so pimp *cough*
I think the stock wheels are kinda ugly, but at this point I'd rather spend
money on go-fast parts... looks comes later o_o

jered i have disc locks but in chicago i prefer to use a U lock and a cable lock to secure it to a bike rack or anything... 200lb our scooters can be lifted and tossed into a van or something... i know its not a harley and our parts are really cheap.. but im still afraid to leave it... its not like alaska here! actually come to think of it i bet the disc lock i have will not fit the tiny holes in our scooters.. i see thats why u had to get tiny ones!

the hardest part on bigger wheels is finding one that fits a 130mm rear drum.
ALmost all the bigger rims use a 190mm rear drum. But if you could find a set of Aerox 100 rims, i think the rear drum is the same and you just need to make a mount to accomodate the larger front disc. Maybe the smaller disc could be retrofitted. Either way, fitting the disc is easier than doin the drum.

the aerox 100 back rim wont fit, the axle is way too big and i dont even think the drum will fit. i tried it with my 2000 zuma and it didnt work, so now i got my self a cherry set of euro spec BW12" wheels on my bike, yeay yeay.
if you can get the vento wheels for cheap try it, they just might work.
