The yahoo yamaha sites aren't nearly as active as this one.

However there are a couple more "chick- oriented" yahoo scooter sites that I frequent--we talk about accessories and colors of scooters we'd like to see. The fave being pink & various shades of purple. The Ice Blue Yamaha Vino color and Honda Metropolitan Kiwi colors are favorites.

Do I hear any of you guys groaning yet? ;no:D

Last summer I was watching the Ellen Degeneres show and they had a pink scooter they were auctioning on ebay for breast cancer research. THAT was a pivotal moment for me. Now my motorcycle sits idle since I always jump on my scoot.

Hey... I've taken my dresses out of the back closet! )

oh... I found Provo before I found Yahoo. :)

I actually joined the old Provo phorum but only posted a few times. Can't remember when that was, but I bought my scooter in Sept 2003 so it was probably in 03

Actually, I found Provo via an ad for a stage 2 Vino on ebay. I still have the ad saved on my web tv favs. I'd post a link, but we both know the rules here. Sorry to say it didn't sell. Bidding got up to over a grand but never made reserve.

Jered... want me to post it? I assume he was a Provo reg. He lives in Wisconsin.

oh... the ad said he had the 70cc kit installed but the vario was still in the box. I gotta wonder....

was it a provo auction? under eficker?

I can't imagine that erich would put one up and have that high of a reserve... since on the sales page they sell for less...

EEK!

the ebay auction was for the Vino already staged --so maybe he wanted $1500 or so as reserve

I still check into the Derbi Atlantis forum...the owner is Gregg..he has a 2000 Atlantis on its second 70cc kit (Malossi MHR) ..and he owns a 125 Boulevard...he is a long time member of the "twist and go" forum...which is interesting...it either has Noobs..or Scooter store owners....I think everybody should check out the Yahoo forums just to check out the Scooter pics!

I like Gregg --he is one wise & funny guy.

I agree -there are some really cool pictures of Vinos that have been painted and decorated on the yahoo Vino groups. Haven't checked out any Zuma groups though.

I don't like those forums cause they are so hard to navigate... I'm sure there is good info... but I don't have a year to dig through the single post style forums to look up stuff...

I too have been wondering what the website is for the Yahoo forums. They sound like they are cool to but not as good as Provo. Thanks
