Called an Aprilia dealer today, cause i was looking at buying a Di-Tech...yes the price is about 1000.00 more but i've always wanted an Aprilia plus they look amazing! anywhoo....the guy i spoke with said that they can hook up the scoot to a computer and by changing the config of whatever, can get it to go 90KMPH with no mods at all!

does anyone know of this? and can this harm the longevity of the scoot?....i'm guessing with an aftermarket exaust etc.. the thng would prob hit 100kmph easy!

I could be wrong, and I have been before, but just messing with a vehicles FI isnt going to have great power gains. Also, I'd imagine the tranny would need some mods as well.

Who knows...

a computer can be tuned to make a car faster just from changing the advance and fuel ratios and stuff....

so yes, it's possible but it's also very possible to lean it to far and cause issues that way as well...

Of course, but still, lets say the scooters top speed is something right at 45mph. A ten mph increase is quite a jump for such a small motor.
