Derbi, Gilera, Piaggio, Vespa, and anyone who buys their motors, but those are the four that are run by the Piaggio Group.

Outside the Piaggio group is Aprilia, Peugeot, and some others (that I cant think of right now).

Elliott, yes it is :) My VIN is JYASA171xxxxxx I copied all this down from the YMC's website when I was still working for Matt in June, that shows my VIN, that the Vino I have was manufactured in Japan, 17 August 200, imported in to Philly docks, 17 MAR 2003

Gilera is owned by Piaggio.

Italjet and Malaguti are seperate companies. Malaguti does buy some stuff from Piaggio, but the majority of their engines (and all the 50cc models) are powered by Motori Minerelli enignes (that are actually made in Italy). Dont know who makes Italjet engines...

Don't TNG scooters have Minerelli engines in them too? I think I read on this website that the Venice has one.

The TNG engine is like the Vino's in that it is a "Minerelli", but not actually made by Minerelli. The TNG is made in China. Vino's is made in Taiwan (?). Im sure there is a version that is made in India also.
