Those of you who live where there is a Real Winter will appreciate this.
It was 45 today & :sunny: so I decided to take the battery off the trickle charger & get my scooter ready for Spring.
The rear tire had lost quite a bit of air, so I bought a bicycle pump and filled it up. It took about 4-5 tries, but then she started up.
Went to check out a new grocery store. When I was packing my groceries into the scooter, a woman stopped by and asked me if I liked the scooter. I told her it was tons of fun. She said she really wanted one and had gone to the Honda dealer to check out a used Metropolitan--it had 4000 miles on it & they had only reduced the price by $200-what a rip off. I told her to go to the Yammy dealer or check the dealers in Denver to get a better price.
Anyway it was exhilarating to be scooting once again! ::handleba
