I have a 2003 Venice TNG that just shut off while being riddin. Ive checked the gas and its fine. Got to the Coil and it seems to not be getting a spark. Ive replaced the coil with a brand new one, new spark plug, new ignition switch. My next step is to check the stator. But without having a manual to know the wire codes for im stuck. Does anyone know what wires to test with my mulitmeter leads to see if the stator is in fact the cause of this?? Any help would be great Thanks!

Not sure of the wiring..sorry. Have you checked if the kill switch wiring isn't getting shorted?

Its comments like those that don't help anyone, well except someone looking to get a new scooter. A Venice is a decent scooter. Way better than the no name gy6 scooters.
As for your question though, look here: http://www.provoscooter.com/wiki/doku.php?id=manuals:start for the service manual for the Vino. It should give you the process to take, but its true that the wires may be different colors. At least you will know that you are checking them correctly and can proceed to check them two at a time. If no combination produces anything on your multimeter, then your suspicions will be confirmed.
