Can anyone give me an idea of the mileage I can expect from a 2009 People 50 that has been modified and now reaches 65mph? I am thinking of buying one, but one of the justifications for me finally getting a scooter is the gas mileage. :)

Sorry that I don't know the exact modifications. I know it has a performance exhaust and more, but you folks probably figured that. It is new (OK, 92 miles) and the guy wanted to see what he could get out of it speed wise and he is selling it for $1500. This almost falls into the "too good to be true" territory since it retails for 1900 without the modifications. Any advice would be great!

a stock 2t scooter would get about 15k to 20k before
you rebuild the top end depending how it is ridden.
mods take the life out of the scooter , up to 20% or so, depending how you ride.
you also lose mpg by moding .. just by derestricting you loose
about 8-10mpg over mfg estimate.
