So, I'm stuck. My ultimate first ride would be the Kymco People 150 but I'm going to be shy on the cash to be able to get it by the 1st of August. I love the style of the People but I'm a little weary of the 50. I've heard great things about it but I have also heard that everyone who buys a 50 kicks themselves in the butt for not getting a larger cc scooter. I have been contemplating the Agility 125, saw some great reviews on it but that style I think would bugg me every day...or is the value that great that I would simply get over it?? Also, I have heard that the People 50 and Agility 125 can be had from a dealer for $2000...is this the case? Can they be haggled down that far? The price quoted to me for the Agility 125 was $2300 and the same for the People 50. They also quoted me $3100 for the People 150. Are these prices firm or realistic. I would really like to scoot away from the showroom for no more than $2000. And, what about the Kymco Sting 50? The salesman was really trying to push that on me sayin "I can do alot better price on that than the $2100 it lists for". I like the style but the single shock and color scheme bother me, but is it a worthy bike if he can give me a great deal? What say all of you?

my 08 milano costed me $2000 from the dealer and it was used but only had 70km on it so it was barely used! go with the 150 cc u wont regret it! the 50cc is slightly underpowered as top speed may only be 30-40mph where as the 150cc u can take these bad boys up to 45-65mph which is pretty fricken fast for not being strapped in!!!

My first comment is how did you manage to post this twice? Anyway, if you want to run faster than 40 mph, don't by a 50cc unless you want to pour a few hundred dollars into mods. Decide what you want from a scooter and go from there. As far as a budget, I think we can all relate to that, however, don't let the scooter you really want go because it is a few hundred dollars more than you want to spend. You will always regret it. Good Luck!

So, I decided on the Kymco People 150 or the SYM Fiddle ll 125. I goto my dealer and say ok I'd like to buy Kymco People 150, and they say $3100 and then proceed to charge me 7% sales tax and tags bringing the total to just under $3500, well screw that I say and then tell them I want to buy the SYM Fiddle ll 125 and they say $3000, then they try to proceed with a 7% sales tax and tags again on top of that which brings the scooter to $3380. Mind you I showed up with all cash so naturally I feel that they should eat the destination/delivery and assembly charges and take my $3000 for the Fiddle ll 125 and call it even; they actually laughed and then tried to charge me for a helmet and a lock!! Needless to say I laughed back gave them my business card, told them to call me when they would like to make a sale and walked away.
So, tell me am i out of my skull or are they out of theirs?? Should I expect to hear back from them wanting to take either $3100 for the People 150 tax and tags included or $3000 for the Fiddle ll 125 tax and tags included plus throw in a helmet and a lock too? What say you all??
