Guys I'm a newbie in this forum and I would like to have your honest opinion to my scoot. I have a 98 Honda DioZX live, and already had a the following upgrades...
1,) Daytona Racing CDI (blue)
2.) Malossi Pulley
3.) Malossi Clutch
4.) Daytona "super black " tune pipe
At the moment my scoot is running fine , but still wanted more power, I plan to have a 70cc bore , My question is ?
1.) what type / brands of kit do you recomend?
2.) do I also need to change gear ratio.?
I hope to have an honest opinion regarding this matter, so I can still used my scooter without any problem later on.
Thanks, thanks in advance!

1. 72cc Polini Corsa air-cooled
2. Don't need to change gears just depends on what you want, better acceleration but less top speed= stock gears, higher top speed but slower acceleration= lower gear ratio

polini makes the best a/c kits... the upgear kit wont really take away that much acceleration if everything else it tuned properly

Thanks again brother's in scootering. ::unk:: How about Motomix, what brand is your best recommendation?
Motul is one we used commonly here for warm climates, but since then I switch to Repsol 2t mix, Is this brand ok than the other?;no

Repsol is a good brand, I myself use the motul 800 and I'm trying out amsoil on one of my bikes. Philippines has some faaast jogs, how come you running dio? Easy to find parts down there, I go every so many years to visit family and get some quality parts for cheap. You should check out the moped enthusiasts section in forumshawaii.net Everybody runs dio over here, I'm sure you'll find all the answers for dio motor on there.

they ran fast Jogs here in Mla. before . but Honda has better resale value that's why I prefer the Honda, It's more civilize than the Jog and riding position is much better, Actually everyone use the Thailand developed MIO (yamaha 4 stroke) but still "OLD SCHOOL" is the best and YES parts for these 2 strokes are much cheaper now here.,.,.dance.

I dont want to start the great oil debate or anything... Im a newbie but not to air cooled two strokes. I use KLOTZ BENOL(32:1) racing castor oil... my engine runs 12000rpms just about constant all over miami 90+ and ive never had problems. Ive been building bikes for a long time and only speaking from high reved hard driven miles of experience. I do have to say that proper jetting is the MOST important... after that ... i guess whatever oil you like... premixed that is... NOT INJECTOR OIL

Malossi only makes a 47mm kit (68cc) for your scooter kabayan, you can also buy a Kitaco or Daytona kit at Caloocan sales or Thor Cycles but they're not much better than Malossi. all are cast iron kits.
with 70cc you can use a 16/42 gear kit.

yes it's a bolt on but i should warn you spare piston kits costs P3500 for Daytona so better take really good care of that kit.
