I was wondering if anyone knows how much gear oil is supposed to go into the rear gears on a Vento R3i. I am guessing that I can use some synthetic gear oil, but maybe not.

some say not to use synthetics...

The zuma's also can run 10w30 SD(severe duty)... I have a bunch of modile 1 full synthetic 10w30 and use that...

Also the zuma takes .11 quarts... (If I remember correctly) a very tiny amount!

Besides it has a over flow tube... if you get to much it'll come out on it's own...

Your's have the over flow tube?

If not... then I donno what to tell you... other than anyone else have one of these? or call a dealer and ask the shop.... most will be nice enough to tell you...

from my observations of both the Zuma, and the Zip...... I would say they are VERY similar.......

You Might want to try a DuraBlend Type Oil..Just in case

Synthetic is only good for engine & Pistons

no one has ever given a reason why not to use synthetic... other than because...

I run synthetic oil in my gear case...

10W30 mobile 1 synthetic...

No issues... yes it's noisier... but I never ran anything else once I upgeared... so nothing to compair the noise with.... however you can't hear it with the exhaust screaming anyway...

Just don't see the difference of SD 10w30 and synthetic 10w30... IMO the synthetic is better... Just my thoughts anyway...
