Just want to re-verify...

This pertains to all members...

It is a TOS (term of service) violation to post any external links as well as sell parts on provo's forums.

This includes:

I have a carb if anyone wants it, PM me and I'll tell you how much.

or I'm selling parts on eBay, do a search for "GOOBER HEAD".

or even I have speedo's for sale, email me at Goofball@oops.duh

So please, please, don't post sales pitches in the forums. It'll cause you headache as well as the moderator team.

Unfortunately we had a member recieve a 24 hour ban for posting this stuff in the open forums... you'd think after the 1st warning it would stop... let alone the 3rd time!

Thanks guys.

Advertising Other Sites
This forum is not here as free advertising for your site, or anyone else's, scootering or non. If a post contains little more than a plug for another site, especially if you are a new member, or it is for another scooter board, and/or scooter parts retailer it will be considered spam. A moderator will delete the link, probably lock the thread, and in a few cases ban the user. A repeat offense will result in a ban, no questions asked. Remember this is a forum for Provoscooter.com custumers.

These forums you need to keep in mind that this forum is only up and running from sales that are made through www.provoscooter.com and if you are refering sales to other online stores, then the point of having these forums funded now becomes a cost rather than a income tool...

Forums such as Yahoo groups and such are "FREE" to members and moderators with no costs out of pocket for them. Those web sites use them to promote the main Yahoo pages as well as make money from advertisers to have you viewing those sites! So due to the nature of provo forums being privately funded, no external links to parts suppliers will be allowed and will be removed from the posts

If you have a personal website and want others to visit it, the best thing to do is place a small link to it in your signature and then make good quality posts on the boards. People will start to notice you more, and will be more likely to want to visit your site. But be warned links to competitor's sites will be removed and appropriate action will be taken.

If you are interested in a link exchange/affiliation with this site, send Erich or King Vino a private message. The site should have good content/layout and at least a few hundred unique visitors per day for consideration.
