im running a stage 2 kit, and it seems to accelrate at too low of a rpm.. so i will try to get some lighter rollers.. i have a malossi 16*13mm i think.. i think it came with 7grams each.. but the provo sells 4.5 and 4 grams.. thats a pretty huge jump... so i would like to know what weight you guys used for stage 2.

im sure if the ball park figure is right it will run much better than what its doing now..

thanks yohei

most definately the 7 grams are to heavy... somwhere between 4.0 and 5.5 should work better...

i was reading thru all the old threads last night, i came across where u guys talked about getting 3.5 grams and things for similar set ups... is that the way to go? provo doesnt carry anything less than 4.. but if u think 4 or 4.5 is good then ill just get those..

thanks yohei

I had the lightest rollers provo sells... and had an issue of it bogging a little bit...

on the flip side, I drilled some of the 4g and made them around 3.5 or so grams... and the belt sliped and was damaged...

so give a little either way... a little bog or a $45 belt every couple weeks...

I gave up and went with the over range and no more belt slip or bogging! I love it!

I still say the torque spring need to upgrade too. Jered, when we order the stage one from provo, we have the technomoto, and the torque spring that come with the technomoto is much stronger than the white malossi torque spring, which is like somewhere between yellow/red malossi torque spring.

You should ask Erich if he can get you the yellow malossi torque spring, or the red motorio torque spring (They are the same, I think), then go with 4/4.5g of roller and see how it goes.
