hi, well i got a chance to ride the zuma quite a bit today. acceleration at WOT is awsome to about 20mph then its a slower constant acceleration to about 35 then it starts to pull hard again to about 50, my speedo stops at 40 so i dont know how fast it is going.
from all of the advice i guess my trans not tuned right... it does take off hard so i guess my stock clutch is functioning correctly. but the rear spring or front variator weights are probably not right. i will order some stronger rear spring and lighter weights for the vario. and will do more testing with those parts..
for crusing at about 20 to 25mph, how does all of the modified zuma run? mine feels like a V twin, rumbles and shakes.. obviously not running perfectly but can these be tuned to run right at 50% throttle and WOT? I assume maybe the needle might need to be replaced is that right? because it runs great at WOT im hesitant to start messing with the carb again. let me know if your zuma runs good at any throttle position.
