I think it'd be a good idea to have a thread where we can post, yamaha and other retailers...
IE: I want to get a Vino but there are none in STATE (alaska)... I'd like to know where to go (from others good fortune) to see if they'd hook me up with shipping one here from another state...
However I don't want to go much over the MSRP of $1799 for a 04 or 05... I'd even assemble it if need be... And worry about the license and all on my own here.
anyone know a good place that might go for this?

You know of any scooter shops that do performance mods?

I havent looked too hard for a shop as I am happy with what I have (derestricted pipe)...If I need a speed fix I pull out the ex race bike a Honda F1...Since mine was theft recovery, I bought my replacement parts from my local Yamaha dealer.

They did not impress me as scooter guru's... I know there are a couple down in Alexandra area one of them being south of the Crystal City Shops around the 3000 block of JDH. I have not been down there in a while though. I also see a guy on craigslist advertising hopups for the vinos..Thats where I found my vino. You could throw a WTB ad on there.

Can't seem to find too many competent scooter shops in DC where I am or Pgh where I'm from, go figure.
