The "Platinum warranty" sounds like an extra package. And I like how they tell people you don't need a License in "most states". There are only a couple states that let un licensed/ un-insured and un Plated motor vehichles on Public streets.Most states arent that dumb....The myth that drunks can ride scooters after a DUI is about 15 years old and dead now.

Oh,I was just poking fun at the sales pitch.Tell me something...you seem to be looking for only chinese scooters? There are good used ones out there and a name brand with parts and support.You will be MUCH happier and less frustrated in the long run. I know..I can't afford a brand new scooter either

look at some of these scooters like
TGB & ADLY they have a msrp of about $1700-1750.
2 year warranty, and they can be made to go 45 -50+mph
with just de restricting ,adding a better cdi and adding
some sliding weights (under $100 for all the parts)

best to stay away from most of the chinese

i live in hawaii, one of the dumb states that lets you ride your (under 51cc) moped un-plated, un-licensed, and un-helmeted.. They do require a one time registration of $5... The only issue? no insurance company will insure it.. they're the most commonly stolen items in the state.. Both of mine have $110 chains and alarm systems.

The upside? because they're relatively un-controlled, you can do damn near anything and you won't have to deal with the police... i mean as long as you're not riding on the sidewalk..
