has anyone made or bought a separate rear fender to add it close to the tire? the stock set up splashes alot of dirt/water onto my rear sear and actually quite a bit on my back...

I ride it rain or shine.. because it is so convinient.. i dont think i can ever drive the car for commuting!

maybe from fiberglass or kydex, i can make something.... and just mount it on the swingarm. it might look bad but i rather not get motor/seat/myself dirty on my commutes...

any ideas would be great

I know on my '04 Vento it comes with a rear tire cover. I just attaches to my transsmission case and then I created and formed a bracket onto the exhaust. It seems to keeep the mud down and it hugs the tire extremly close.

Florida Derbi Rocket, yes please send me the part number and printout if possible. my email is click here (yyamad1@yahoo.com) i appreciate it!
drove around 2 days now in the rain and 1st day got dirty as heck with the stock fender, then i looked under, saw there was 2 screw holes.. i guess there is some kind of lengthening attachment.. mine didnt come with it though (bought it used). so i attached a rubber 5 inch flap on it as a temp fix, and it kept me totally clean! :)\

but a small rear fender that hugs the tire will look better and perform better im sure!
if you know a cheap vedor for this fender, please tell me that too!
thank you Yohei

i just looked at some vento pictures and info. wow what a deal, that scooter is great for the money and has so many cool features.. but its a 150cc.. i cant park that legally on the side walks :( that mud guard is exactly what im looking for, the derbi one is boxy and it looks like an R1 guard. if i made an extension then it would look terrible. that vento one however will look very nice!!!
